Leek & District Agricultural Show delighted to announce new main sponsor
We are pleased to announce that Advanced Proteins, local leading provider of animal by-product solutions in the UK, has come on board as main sponsor for the next 3 years. Formerly operating as John Pointon & Sons Ltd, they have been delivering top-tier service to loyal customers for over 40 years and have earned a reputation for professionalism, biosecurity and quality.
Advanced Proteins provide collection services for major meat industry players including butchers, slaughterhouses, supermarkets and food processors. They reclaim animal by-products, bones, fats, offal and blood by processing them into high quality fats, oils, proteins and biomass fuels through high temperature rendering.
As well as offering a premium range of animal proteins, tailor made for the pet industry, animal by-products are transformed into high quality oils and tallows which serve as renewable biofuels. Advanced Proteins play an important part in the farming community – using Brassington’s, who have been serving farming and equine communities since 1958, for collection of fallen stock. We are confident that their connection with the show will be beneficial and rewarding for both parties.
Main ring attractions this year include Inspire Equine Productions hosting a range of acts that will captivate audiences of all ages including artistic performances using trick riding, horsemanship and dance, with other added bonusses, the Yorkshire Volunteers Marching Band, sheepdog demonstrations, vintage tractors, grand parade and tug-of-war.
In our ‘theatre’ we have several inspiring demonstrations and presentations – our new main sponsor Advanced Proteins, cookery by Markovitz, floral art demonstration, Rudyard Flowers, Everyone Health, Mootrlands Climate Action and North Staffs Bee Keepers Association.
The familiar agricultural, equine and canine sections will be showing their best – this year’s show will be enjoyed by many thousands of returning and new visitors – attractions for everyone including children!
